Garmin Compact Reactor 40 Hydraulic Autopilot Starter Pack

Model: 010-00705-06
  • Includes Compact Reactor 40 CCU, ECU, pump and other autopilot components needed to add to your compatible chartplotter
  • Recommended only for single-engine outboard boats less than 30’ long
  • Solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS)
  • Minimizes heading error, course deviation, rudder movement and power consumption while providing a comfortable ride
  • Minimal commissioning and calibration

Designed for boats less than 30’ long, the Compact Reactor 40 hydraulic autopilot provides relief from manually holding the wheel to maintain course, especially when cruising at moderate to high speeds . Sit back at the helm, and enjoy your time on the water as the solid-state 9-axis AHRS technology delivers a comfortable ride.

The autopilot is easy to install with flexible mounting options and quick, easy commissioning. Choose a corepack with our patented Shadow Drive technology, and simply turn the wheel to take control of the helm; hold a constant course to re-engage. It integrates with compatible Garmin electronics to control the autopilot from the chartplotter display. And it can be engaged to follow an Auto Guidance path (requires LakeVü HD Ultra maps or BlueChart® g2 Vision® HD charts).

With its advanced solid-state 9-axis AHRS, Compact Reactor 40 provides you with more flexible mounting options. In addition, this new system greatly minimizes heading error, course deviation, rudder movement and power consumption while providing a comfortable ride for all on board.

This amazing autopilot actually reacts to the sea to hold your course. Even when the boat is pitching and rolling, you can remain confident that the Compact Reactor 40 autopilot will keep you on your desired course.

All autopilots require commissioning and calibration to work properly. We know you just want to get on the water, so we made this process as fast and easy as possible. That’s the power of simple.

Combined with our compatible networked electronics, you can have full control of Compact Reactor 40 from wherever you are on the boat. In addition to holding its course in virtually all weather and wind conditions, the system can smoothly perform a variety of preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. Plus, with BlueChart g2 Vision HD charts (sold separately), you gain optional features such as Auto Guidance , which automatically steers GPS paths.

The Compact Reactor 40 autopilot supports optional patented Shadow Drive technology. This gives you the security of knowing you maintain control, even when the autopilot is engaged. The Shadow Drive system automatically disengages the autopilot if the helm is turned, giving you the freedom to maneuver the boat. The autopilot automatically re-engages when you hold a steady course.

Compact Reactor 40 can be operated directly from your compatible Garmin chartplotter screen or by using up to 3 GHC helm control units. GHC communicates with the autopilot system via your NMEA 2000® network, so autopilot heading data can be shared easily with other devices. This enables MARPA and chart overlay when connected to a Garmin radar and chartplotter. An optional handheld wireless remote control is also available.

1Not recommended for fishing or applications that require holding heading while trolling or at low speeds. For applications that require precise heading control while trolling or at low speeds, our higher-performance Reactor 40 models are recommended.

2Requires echoMAP™ CHIRP 5x/7x/9x chartplotter/sonar combos; ECHOMAP Plus 6x/7x/9x chartplotter/sonar combo; GPSMAP® chartplotter series 7200/7400/7600/8000/8200/8400/8500/8600; or GPSMAP chartplotter/sonar combo series 7x2/9x2/10x2/12x2

Hmmm.
Format: Paperback
LOVED Pharaohs and Kings. Agree with New Chronology. But here, there is much to disagree with as he tries to explain away pre-flood events, he ties in Scripture with other local peoples ancient stories in ways that make God and His works look like a local god, little "g" - nothing to see here kind of god. The angel God places at the entrance to the Garden of Eden with a fiery sword a demon? The ark made out of reeds? Local flood, etc. I annotated the first half of this book to death, but after the flood, I annotated less and less as there was much more to agree with. I am open minded - I know there is archeological evidence as well as epigraphical evidence. But if it completely disagrees with Biblical text, it cannot work. I like Dave Rohl. You will probably get a lot out of most of the book, but he takes us completely down a different path than I expected pre-flood.

GREAT!!!
Format: Paperback
I have huge amounts of respect for this guy. He is so intelligent and really researches things, he is one of those people who sees what the average guy cant. This book is great and fascinating. cant put it down. I hate these books that are clearly not the truth but they just want to make money selling books...THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE... It is real info that is true history.

A Truly Epic History
Format: Paperback
This book was awesome and went through the history of the people of the bible from the very beginnings. It's a fascinating read using the new chronology, which is backed up with astronomical events and archaeology. It's not an easy read with all the information in it, but it is worth every minute spent reading it. I think anyone who is interested in Biblical history or archaeology would find this book very interesting.

Obvious deduction with roots in both new and old archeology.
Format: Paperback
The Iron Age seemed to have its beginning several hundred years earlier than has been officially declared. That was my assumption after researching for a historical fiction novel during 1750 B.C.E. period. I began the current research in January of 2013. I'm not a archeologist, have no desire to be one. I'm not related to any archeologists. But I respect the the discipline, scholarship and dedication required to be a good one. After a year of research discovery my girlfriend was well versed with my newly formed assumption about the chronology of these times verses the old school beliefs. Referencing some material in this vain of research I stumbled across Rohl's work. To my utter delight I find out there has been a N.C. movement growing for twenty years. Good work and plausible scenarios are laid out for pure intellectual amazement and entertainment for the imagination inside these pages. Buy it now. Enjoy Zak
