This guitar belonged to Brian Fallon of the Gaslight Anthem. It was featured in Brian's live touring guitar rig - most recently played at their three-night run at the Stone Pony Summer Stage celebrating the tenth anniversary of his band's 2008 sophomore LP, The '59 Sound.

Fender debuted the Paisley finish in 1968 and has been sought after by players and collectors alike for many years.  Paisley isn't a "finish" in the typical sense - it is a printed paper with a polyurethane clear coat acting as a sealant.  As a Paisley finish ages, it takes on a patina that may bring to mind the old Polaroid photos in your parents' attic, or Al and Peggy Bundy's notorious living room couch.  This Paisley finish - on the other hand - is far from fade and yellowing, and instead boasts itself as a metallic counterpart.

This relic '68 Telecaster was masterbuilt by Paul Waller of the Fender Custom Shop.  Among accolades, Waller's work includes custom basses and guitars for Adam Clayton and Bono of U2, and - top tier Tele pedigree - Telecasters for Keith and Ronnie from the Rolling Stones.  The neck and fingerboard of this masterbuilt Telecaster are genuine solid Rosewood.  Steel saddles and '70s-style "F" tuners add to this guitar's vintage-inspired character and design.  Currently, the guitar is equipped with a 3-ply mint green pickguard, and the original clear pickguard is included in the case. This guitar is being presented as it was when last used live - with mint pickguard. Inside the case is an Abby Telecaster bridge single coil. For those not in the know, Abby is Abigail Ybarra, Fender's longest employed factory worker, specializing in hand-winding pickups. This Tele bridge pickup is dated 2-27-12, and Ybarra retired from Fender in 2013. This is an incredibly comfortable Telecaster - and made to be played.  The profile of the solid Rosewood neck feels late '60s/early '70s inspired - not too thick or thin; fit for many different players' hands.  It weighs in at 7 lbs, 7 oz - not too heavy or too light for a Telecaster. Double stops, tone swells, and unapologetic thrashing are all capable on this Tele.  Its relic package models a guitar that has been played out but well watched after; just in the right places.  Now, this guitar needs a new player and new inspiration.

This is a one-of-a-kind Fender Custom Shop Telecaster, built for one of the prodigal sons of New Jersey - and one of our very good friends. Direct from Fallon's rig to yours could be this Custom Shop Pink Paisley Telecaster.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
