It is easy to dial in, with a spongy feel similar to early designs in the Mark series. Dialing in one channel to your liking and setting the EQ to the other channel allows you to have two different responses out of the amp.
The Studio .22+ also features spring reverb, effects loop, and a 1/4" direct out to run to a console or speaker simulator.
