BARTLETT, Vernon. You and Your Surfboard … With additional comment drawn by Maurice Bartlett. [Porthcothan Bay, Padstow, Cornwall: Darke-Johnson Ltd. For the author in London. 1953].

Oblong 8vo. Original illustrated wrappers; pp. 24, profusely illustrated throughout by the author’s brother; minimal spotting to wrappers, otherwise very good, with ownership inscription, dated Newquay 1953 on initial blank. Newquay had been a destination for Britsh surfers since the 1930s.

Scarce first edition, first issue with the author's London address, and not his later Rye, Sussex address. The writer, journalist and leftist politician is the author of this very early study on what he called ‘surf riding’. He is well known as being the co-author of WW1 classic Journey’s End and here took quite a left-field diversion. Bartlett exclaimed that you could use any kind of board, even the landlady’s tea-tray. He also dedicated a couple of pages to rubbish on the beaches and told its readers to dispose of their own waste. He finished by saying he was yet to find anything as exhilarating as surfing on the north Devon coast and that the older he got, the more fun it was to do.

Make sure you read the terms and conditions and don't let them off the hook
Asurion is counting on the fact that you don't know how to read. They made the claim process aggravating and as difficult as possible. I CAN read and had to review the terms and conditions with them on the phone and threaten to involve an attorney before they would honor the coverage. They tried to say my product was not portable, when the word "portable" is literally in the name of the product. Then they tried to say the the accidental drop was not covered, but it clearly states in the terms and conditions that an accidental drop and a cracked screen is a covered event. I buy the coverage almost every time I am offered it, but I will be rethinking that going forward and Amazon should consider finding a different company to issue the protection plans for their products because I fear this is the beginning of a lot of complaints. I have filed a claim in the past and it was very straightforward and easy, but they must have a new company managing the plans now, because it was anything but easy. If I was an older person who was not tech savy, or who just took someone's word at face value, I would be out the cost of my item and the protection plan. BUYER BEWARE

Love it.
Style: Ink
I love my epson workforce printer. I used to be a Canon person but once I got this printer. It changed my mind. So the ink is worth it. Especially in the bundle package. It may be a bit on the pricey side but it last me awhile. At least, in my opinion, it’s less expensive than buying them separately. Epson makes great stuff and glad I chose to stick with them. The ink is very good and looks great after it prints. Thanks to Epson for functionality, cost and efficiency when it comes you your products.

Epson Ink for the win
Style: Ink
Love my epson printer and that I can order the ink just about anywhere. Ink is of good quality and depending on the amount you print, it seems to last a decent amount of time.

It's ink and it works.
Style: Ink
It's ink and it works. My Epson printer is VERY finicky and only wants name-brand ink. This is it. A little pricey but they all are.
