The color is the rich, reddish brown of Mesquite heartwood with some creamy beige sapwood and bark mixed in on one face. This block has been fully air dried to 10 12% moisture content. The grain appears to be curving and complex throughout. There are several open voids in the block that appear to be during-growth openings, rather than drying cracks. You may wish to use epoxy or CA glue to fill these prior to turning. This is an awesome block, probably best for very sharp tools and an experienced hand. |

Beautiful! I loved how they looked in the virtual try-on and they are even better in person. Aviator sunglasses are my favorite and these take it to the next level. They are classic and never go out of style. The size is perfect. The gradient brown is very nice and provides great sun protection and the frames are beautiful. The Coach logo is stunning. But even better is the comfort. The frame is just the right weight and they are comfortable for long periods. They came nicely packaged in a very nice Coach case. I am very pleased with this purchase.
