This is a set of optional RPM Nerf Bars and are intended for use with the Traxxas Slash & Slash 4x4 short course trucks. Nerf bars play an extremely important function in the overall durability of a Short Course racer by protecting the sides of the chassis and fragile body of the truck. A weak nerf bar can expose the body and chassis to severe impact damage from side impacts, roll over’s and T-bone crashes to name a few. RPM has once again stepped up to make the most durable and well-designed nerf bar for the Traxxas Slash and Slash 4x4. The RPM nerf bar eliminates the stock hook-over-the-chassis that supports the nerf bar and replaced it with a structural cross rib running parallel to the chassis for optimum rigidity and anti-deformation characteristics. By eliminating the hook, installation is easier; the nerf bar doesn’t have to be deformed to get it in position and the nerf bar no longer pulls on the side of the chassis when it takes a hit.RPM has also switched to a full round radius in the compression area of the nerf bar. The stock trapezoidal shape forces too much impact energy into the tiny corner radii near the body support area, usually ending in a break. The RPM nerf bars’ full corner radii are huge in comparison and allow a progressive compression of the nerf bar while distributing the impact energy over a much larger area, preventing breakage by design. These design element changes, coupled with the best impact absorbing material in the R/C industry, make RPM nerf bars the best Slash and Slash 4x4 nerf bars available!

Held up well first season in rain and snow, compartments a little shallow

Overall these are a good product. The fit was good on my 2014 Honda Rancher AT, and they stay put when riding. I have left it out in rain and snow, and the contents stay dry so far. They seem pretty durable, but a few seasons exposed to sun and hot/cold will show for sure.
The detachable "purse" pouch is kind of cheesy. Not sure I would ever need that feature. THe other pockets are fine for keeping things separated and out of the elements. I think if you put heavy metal items like a hammer and nails in there it would wear through it. But good for everyday stuff like gloves and keys and cell phones and water bottles.
The other thing that seemed a little off was the depth of the pockets. When new the zipper openings are hard to spread apart, and inside you can't put anything very bulky unless it compresses easy like a fleece coat or gloves. So you would still need a rack bag for bulkier items.
For me it does the job of keeping odds and ends accessible and not left on the trail someplace.

Decent product!

Just put it on today. Put my phone and wallet in the top pockets. Took a ride up through the back of my property and didn't lose anything. Can't complain but time will tell. You guy's are lucky I didn't give you 1 star for the annoying reminders of a review before I used the product.

Good storage for your ATV four wheeler.
Works great. Fits on my 2023 Canam 850 Outlander. I needed a storage compartment where I could put a few tools, gloves, flashlight and straps to seccure my cargo when not in use. It is well built and attaches firmly to the back of my front wheel well body molding. It does not interfer with my driving or leg movement. The only down side when you unzip the lid it doesn't fold back easily but it still excessable.

MEH. Not worth $40
Meh. Not sure about durability for 39.99. Seems a bit steep for what showed up at my door, hence the one star.
Opening the top is clumsy and can barely open if mounted against something flat. The cheap strap setup might work in a specific ATV application, but don't buy this bag (especially for 40 bucks) if you plan to try it in any other way. The chintzy sticky velcro pads plus dumb strap and buckle design pretty much rules out clicking the bottom and top straps together for a tidy wrap-around installation.
This should've been a $20 item at most.
