This indicates the location where the blower rod was broken once the piece was finished. This is a mark of commitment to a 100% handmade product.  This traditional handblown glass may contain air bubbles, sharp edges and scorch marks due to the experimental process of creation. The pieces may also contain scratches or marks from tools used in the smelter.

The Bistrot Rond is available in clear recycled glass.

• Made entirely of recycled, mouth-blown glass.
• Approximately 21cm in height and 14cm in width.
• Slight variations in shape and size (about 1cm-2cm) may occur from piece to piece.
• Each order is hand washed and packaged with care.

La Soufflerie is a French non-profit, family owned and operated association, that aims to preserve the timeless art of glassblowing. Using only 100% recycled glass, each piece is mouthblown by an expert glassblowing craftsperson in their Paris studio workshop before being transported to Delph, England to wait for it's new home!
