【Kenneth Jay Lane(KJL)とは】
Kennethはデザイン学校を卒業後、Hattie Carnegieの下で働き、その後Christian Diorの靴のデザイナーをしながらジュエリーデザインを始めました。1963年にNYで自身のジュエリー会社を創業すると彼のコスチュームジュエリーは人気を博し、ケネディ大統領夫人、エリザベス・テイラー、オードリー・ヘップバーンにも愛用されました。Kennethのデザインコンセプトは「何にもとらわれず、好きなものだけを作る」。他にないオリジナリティ溢れるデザインが魅力で、現在も世界中のコレクターに愛されています。
【AVON(エイボン)とは】
1886年にNYで香水会社として始まり、1971年よりコスチュームジュエリーの制作をスタート。1980年代には一時期ティファニーを買収したほど、ジュエリー業界で強い地位を確立しました。そのデザイン性の高さから、現在も世界中のコレクターに大人気のブランドです。
