Bursting with sweet honeysuckle notes cut through with citrussy marmalade and tropical fruits, this wine has layer upon layer of gloriously rich, ripe fruit and baking spice intermingled with that classic honeyed finish.
The ultimate dessert wine, Sauternes also pairs perfectly with blue cheese or, do as the French do and serve it alongside a velvety duck liver parfait.
A blend of 75% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Muscadelle, the grapes for this wine are carefully hand-picked at a very late stage in the growing season. The vineyards are passed around 3 times during the vintage to ensure that the grapes have been affected well by botrytis (noble rot) yet are still healthy. The grapes are treated with the utmost care during pressing so as to maintain their delicate aromas and flavours.

Taste guide: a melange of honeysuckle, orange blossom and butterscotch on the nose with lashings of ripe apricot, mango and mandarin along with ginger and barley sugar on the palate.
