In recent testing this system outflowed the factory intake by 29% resulting in 14 max horsepower and 18 lbs x ft of torque gain. This highly engineered system features a one-piece, durable 18-guage, powder-coated heat-shield and massive 3.5? mandrel-bent, wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube that direct air smoothly and aggressively to the engine. Improving airflow further is a large 6? tall washable/reusable conical air filter constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The air filter uses a unique (patent pending) flange retention design that requires no hardware to mount the filter to the heat shield providing a quick hassle-free installation with minimal hardware. The instructions were easy enough to read but I still found a couple of parts I didn't use and wondered what they were for? The parts do come numbered but only on the packaging? Not on the part itself which would have been more helpful to some extent. So just keep it all together with it's packaging and you'll have no problems. Very happy with purchase.
