1972年にSARAH COVENTRYより発売されたコレクション"Peking"のブローチ。

その名の通り、「北京」にインスパイアされたと思われるオリエンタルなデザイン。

優美なフィリグリーにシンメトリーなモチーフがあしらわれ、曲線と直線が美しく融合しています。センターには、側面にカットが施された、翡翠のようなグリーンのカボションが艶めきます。

コーディネートに異国情緒漂う独特のムードを添えてくれる、素敵なお品です。

こちらは元々タッセルが付いているデザインです。(流通途中で外れてしまったか、いつかの持ち主の好みで外された可能性がございます。)
それでも十分に美しいお品ですが、タッセルがない点を価格に反映させていただいております。

良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

1949年にNYで創業したコスチュームジュエリーメーカー。社名は創業者の孫娘(サラ)の名をとって名付けられました。主にホームパーティー形式で販売され、大きな成功を収めました。個性的なものからエレガントなものまで、豊富なデザインが特徴。1981年に閉業しましたが、そのデザイン性と品質の高さから、現在も世界中のコレクターに愛されています。

Perfect Salt & Pepper Grinders
Size: 2.5" x 5.1"
Excellent design, size and function, plus they have CLEAR PLASTIC TOPS so you can easily see how much ground salt or pepper you have to sprinkle on your food. After using my first set I knew I needed another set for different combinations of pepper corns in particular. Oh, and they come with an extra set of ceramic grinding wheels (yes, ceramic, not plastic as a few reviewers falsely claim). Very smooth operation and adjustable from fine to coarse sizes. Here's my recommendation for use. First, use quality coarse salt and whole pepper corns. Second, don't grind with lid off over hot steaming food while cooking because the steam will negatively effects the salt and pepper in the grinders, the grind quality you get, and will ultimately clog the grinders. Just grind with lid on until you get the required amount (hence the need for the clear caps), open the caps and sprinkle. Easy peasy... ☺
