Featuring a semi-hollow layered maple body and a JCB-1 Low-impedance humbucking pickup, the Jack Casady Signature Bass has resonance and kick to spare. A truly unique feature to the Jack Casady Signature, the VariTone impedance shifting circuit allows player to dial in the impedance of the pickup from 50 to 500 ohms to capture a wide range of tones. Along with its expansive tonal territory, the Jack Casady Signature Bass is outfitted with a 3-point adjustable bridge, an Indian laurel fingerboard, and pearloid trapezoid fret inlays. I've bought two of these — one for my grand puppy to use when she's at my house, and another for her to keep at her house. I was shocked that she actually seems to enjoy playing with this toy! She hunts out all the bunnies and then brings the carrot to me to refill. I refill it, and then she takes the refilled carrot back to her spot and hunts them all out again. If I can't find one of the bunnies (because it's gotten stuck in the couch cushion, for example), I ask her "where's the bunny?" and she helps me find it! This dog is a ferocious chewer but she doesn't chew these toys! It's like she instinctively knows they are for hunting, not chewing. As a result, they have lasted a long time and provide hours of quality fun. Great value!
