A single, large 20 inch gathered lampshade made from a beautiful, Victorian, mid 19th Century shawl with an intricate floral design. The delicate edging of the original shawl has been reused as the fringe to this large scale lampshade. This shade has been hand stitched in England, with a warm, cream cotton lining and gold sprayed duplex fitting.
CONDITION: These lampshades are made with an antique that has been meticulously restored and hand sewn within Flora Soames workshops. However, it is important to underline, due to the nature of it being an antique, that there is a corresponding patina and character of age to this piece. As a result, it will show the inevitable variations that come with one off designs and be subject to likely wear and imperfections that show its age.
