If utility power is lost while the Eppendorf epMotion 5073l is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first). The built in power conditioning function ensures that voltage sags or surges will not damage the power supply of the attached instrument.

The shelf is very flimsy and not sturdy at all. It feels unstable and poorly made. Definitely not worth the money, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money on this product.
