Here is a truly outstanding 1978 Martin D-28
Just back from our master luthier where it received a fresh neck set, new bone nut and saddle. The guitar is crack free and does not have any previous repairs, and the intonation is spot on!
This guitar shows some very minor marks and pick scratches from the past 47 years of playing, but it also shows it has been very well taken care of and loved. Tonally, it has a surprisingly strong bottom end, more than I typically find in a D-28 of this era. The mids are present and clear, and the trebles ring like a bell without any harshness at all. On top of all this, the rosewood back on this beauty is truly unique and stunning!
This is a good one folks, believe me. And it's set up and ready to go for the next 50 years of playing.
Includes original case which is also in excellent condition.
