This all is possible due to a traditional tonewood combination that forms the basis for this guitar's sonic engine. A torrefied Sitka spruce top takes the starring role with its standby acoustic qualities – warm, bright, and balanced. Torrefaction, a process in which woods are heat-treated to bake out imperfections and impart an aged and lived-in quality, makes this Sitka spruce distinct and full of character. Indian rosewood assumes the role of this 414ce Studio SEB's back and sides, resulting in a tonally rich sound from the whole guitar.
