The London Brutalist Edition Chess Set is made using the highest quality materials to create beautiful and unique objects for both the chess player and design enthusiast alike. The 32-piece set is hand cast in resin and each piece is double-weighted with a soft felt base. The darkness of the resin makes for a perfect concrete setting for each of the buildings, while the hand screen-printed playing board follows the brutalist design featuring the window fenestrations from Centre Point and One Kemble Street, both designed by the architect George Marsh.
As each piece is handmade, small imperfections can happen. This part of the handmade process is what makes the products unique and should not be seen as a fault. Each set comes complete with a hand screen-printed wooden playing board and in a presentation box.
