But before you can eat, you must first create your own menu from the mouth-watering options within reach. So grab your chopsticks and snap up your favourite dishes before they whiz by!
Sushi Go is a fast-paced pick and pass card game for 2-5 players, where the goal is to grab the best combination of sushi dishes before your opponents do. Combinations score massive points. You tally points for the most maki or a full set of sashimi, whilst 5 dumplings bag you a whopping 15 points. Make sure to leave room for dessert, or risk losing points!
This game can get manic, as turns are played simultaneously in each round. It's just like picking a dish off the conveyer belt at a sushi restaurant before your friend nicks it for themselves!
Starting a round is simple. Each player chooses 1 card in their hand they want to keep and places it face-down in front of them. When all players have done this, everyone reveals their chosen cards. Players then pass their remaining hand face-down to the left, and pick up the hand given to them from their right. The next turn then begins with a smaller hand to choose from.
Keep going until everyone's hand is empty, and then you can score your meal so far. Using the Card Guide is crucial, as each delectable plate has specific conditions for a high-scoring round. Once you've played 3 rounds, the game is over, and you can see who has the best sushi selection for unsurpassed satisfaction.
