Finse 3 is a rock-solid, safe, practical and functional tent that you can rely on even in extreme conditions throughout the winter.

This expedition tent can be double poled for additional strength in extreme conditions, making it a great choice for Greenland, Antarctica and the North Pole.

Finse 3 is optimized to be in tough conditions and demanding terrain also for longer periods. The tent has a nice balance between weight and size, and is equipped with several smart solutions that make it also suitable as a versatile all-year-round tent.

With three poles of equal length threaded into the internal pole channel system, a good aerodynamic design is created. This provides good stability on trips with strong winds and also ensures that the installation is easy. The design of the tent also ensures a good ceiling height and good lying width. These are valuable qualities if you are weather bound for periods, and important to have enough space for the largest sleeping mats with a winter sleeping bag on top.

The details have been carefully selected to make it easy to use in various conditions. For example, extra hinges have been made at the pole cups so that they can be operated with gloves. Two entrances make it easy to get in and out at the same time that you always have one side in the lee in bad weather. It is also possible to open the entire front on days with fine weather. The large awning has plenty of space for storing equipment and cooking.

Outer and inner tents are attached together so that the outer tent does not get wet during setup. Form-stitched corners on the base fabric, combined with good adjustment options, ensure a good and controlled distance between the inner and outer tent. Finse has two Open Air™ vents located high up and two smaller ones down on each side at the back of the tent. This helps to minimize condensation, and ensures a superb indoor climate in the tent.
