Journey into the Futura, a newly designed stunning dimension created by Epiphone, and inspired by Gibson, that delivers timeless designs with modern modifications created for the contemporary guitarist. The Futura RD Custom electric guitar offers a classic, affordable option for the player who wants an enhanced Epiphone feel with flashy visuals and sonic improvements.

Merging the sleek designs of the Explorer and Firebird, the RD silhouette is singular and undoubtedly recognizable, and Epiphone is thrilled to offer the model in the Futura series. A solid piece of mahogany is carved to create the RD shape—finished in a Midnight Ember Shift "Chromashift" gloss finish, a treatment which turns the red base color to orange hues when caught in dynamic lighting. This finish flows upwards toward the Modern "C" profiled mahogany neck and to the back of the headstock, ensuring the color-changing properties are witnessed from every angle. An ebony fingerboard is affixed to the neck, situated with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets and split-block inlays, promising a navigable, comfortable play-space across the 25.5" scale length.

New for the Futura series, Epiphone has crafted the Probucker Ignite humbucker pickup, an articulate and powerful pickup found in the neck and bridge positions that perform clean, mean, or anything in between. Dialing in the guitar's signature flavors are two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a 3-way pickup selector. Additionally, the tone knobs double as push/pull mechanisms to engage coil split and phase altering modes, leading to an expanded suite of ready-to-go tones for distinguishing leads from rhythms.

All that's mentioned before is well and good, but a guitar is only as great as its intonation, and that's why Epiphone has installed a Locktone Tune-O-Matic bridge to ensure tuning stability, optimal resonance, and comfortable string spacing. On top of that, a Graph Tech nut and Grover Rotomatic locking tuners double down on the intonation certainty. Wrapped up in an Epiphone gig bag, the Futura RD Custom is road ready and waiting for the journey.

Take your guitar playing into the Futura with the Epiphone Futura RD Custom Electric Guitar in Midnight Ember Shift.

Great Read, and Awesome Resource.
Format: Paperback
Great Book to give insight to the blue team side. It has some of that simple common sense stuff. But it takes that and puts it into a plan! Very deep insight into the importance of being prepared and explaining why. Also has some cool more advance advice to read up on. Gives command line examples of different parameters to use and shows the result you will get.

Great Resource to Have on hands for Security Analysts
Format: Paperback
Great Resource to Have on hands for Security Analysts. I have been using many of the techniques described in this book over the past few years but this book expanded on that knowledge a bit more than I was used to. It's great because it has all of the most common things one would typically run into on their day-to-day job as a security analyst. Not completely comprehensive but that's not the purpose of this book.

Great book
Format: Paperback
Nice companion to the RTFM. I have been in INFOSEC for a while and I found most of the book to be somewhat generic. My feelings may not apply to everyone else though. There seems to be an idea out there that everyone in INFOSEC sits around grepping Snort logs and/or TCP dumps; this simply is not the case. As an incident first responder the job is fairly straight forward: isolate and collect the logs. Everyone has their own methods I guess. Some OS'es require you leave the system connected before collecting logs this book does not cover that aspect. Not everyone can afford a SANS course so in that respect this condensed field guide is a plus+. Simply put; you cannot afford to not have this book. A must buy.
