It's about time we see a Susan Tedeschi custom guitar, and we're proud to present this Fender Susan Tedeschi Telecaster, featuring a Rosewood Fingerboard and an Aged Caribbean Mist finish. Susan Tedeschi is a celebrated blues and rock musician, known for her work with the Tedeschi Trucks Band, and this guitar is a collaborative statement between Susan and Fender that embodies the classic Telecaster.
In true Tele fashion, the Fender Susan Tedeschi Telecaster features an alder body, and is topped with a 4-Ply Tortoiseshell pickguard that beautifully contrasts the body's color. A maple neck features a notoriously comfy Modern "C" shape, with a quick satin urethane finish up to its headstock, which then boasts a gloss finish for a little bit of a wink. On the neck, a slab rosewood fingerboard offers a classic Tele 9.5" radius and is topped with twenty-two frets and White Dot inlays. See? We told you- classic Tele. The bone nut measure at 1.66-inches wide.
Known for tone, Susan T had Fender wire up some custom Susan Tedeschi single-coil Tele pickups, which deliver articulate and dynamic tones that live up to Susan's standards. Making this Telecaster even more versatile, a Master Volume and Master TBX Tone Control offer intuitive control and a 3-position blade switch allows for quick selection between pickup configurations.
The Aged Caribbean Mist finish of the Susan Tedeschi Telecaster is a standout that contrasts the color of the pickguard and the fingerboard beautifully. This guitar comes with an equally pretty deluxe black hardshell case for transport.
