The 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue from Gibson's Custom Shop is a testament to timeless design and masterful craftsmanship. A renowned choice of many guitar legends, this reissue embraces the essence of the original in all its glory. With its gold finish, the combination of mahogany and maple in its construction, and versatile humbucking pickups, this guitar offers everything a player could need in a Les Paul.

The guitar's top is a 2-piece plain maple, fitted with hide glue for the most authentic construction. The back and sides feature lightweight mahogany, a traditional choice for Les Paul guitars, known for its depth and warmth. The double gold nitrocellulose finish in VOS (Vintage Patina) adds a timeless aesthetic and contributes to the guitar's resonance and sustain.

The 1957 Goldtop Reissue comes with a mahogany neck shaped in the 50s Rounded Medium C profile, favored for its comfortable grip. Its Indian Rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius and hosts 22 Gibson historic narrow/tall frets. The inlays are made from aged cellulose nitrate in the iconic trapezoid design.

The guitar's electronics section presents Custombucker Alnico III pickups in both neck and bridge positions. Unpotted, these pickups deliver a classic, vintage tone, capturing the essence of the '57 era. The control panel consists of a 3-way selector and two sets of volume and tone knobs, with CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors for high-fidelity sound shaping.

The double gold nitrocellulose VOS finish gives the 1957 Goldtop Reissue a vintage aesthetic, complemented by historic cellulose acetate butyrate plastics. With Kluson Single Line, Single Ring tuning machines and a No-Wire ABR-1 bridge with a lightweight aluminum stop bar, the guitar exhibits both functionality and style.

The Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue is more than a mere instrument; it's a piece of history. From its construction and parts to its contours, every aspect of this guitar is designed to match the original year of production, providing a timeless and endlessly enjoyable playing experience.

    Great replacement o-ring
I had to do some work on my Honda that required me to remove the steering pump. Any time you do that, you should replace the top o-ring. This o-ring was an exact match to the original and fit just fine. I popped it in and torqued it down to spec. It's holding a great seal and I've seen no problems with it. Good replacement in that it functions just like it should!

    Good fit, well made
These O-rings fit dimensionally the power steering pump on the 2006 CR-V. I only checked on the replacement pump, did not install yet on the car. These look and feel just like the originals, good quality material and well made, but only mileage can tell if they are as good. For now, all looks good.

    as described
The size of these two o rings matches the description. Did not use in a vehicle so cannot speak on the fit of that, but size was accurate and they worked for my use.
