Twin Flowered and Pin Cushion are some of the many names given to Agave Geminiflora that can grow up to 3 to 4 feet in height. Belonging to the Agavaceae family, the succulent has a unique rounded starburst shape. Agave Geminiflora is native to Nayarit, a Mexican state with rare plant growth and goes dormant in winters.

Growth Rate

This extremely slow-growing plant has a growth rate of 1 to 2 inches a year. You can also choose to cut off its flowering stalk and keep it at a smaller size forever.

Flowering

The agave geminiflora flowers bloom in the summer season. The yellow-colored flowers have the reddish or purple-bluish lining on the edges.

Watering and Feeding

Create a medium watering schedule during the summer season. Agave Geminiflora does not need watering during the autumn, spring and winter time. Feed the plant with a slow-release fertiliser during the early weeks of spring.

Soil

Do not go beyond the pH level of 6 for an ideal soil structure. Ensure that the soil mix is gritty so that it does not cause waterlogging.

Hardiness

The succulent has extraordinary heat tolerance. However, keep them away from severe freezing temperatures. The twin flowering agave has a frost tolerance of -3° C and a hardiness zone of 9 to 11.

Light

Place the plant in partial shade. Expose the succulent to bright light for about 4 hours every day for the plants to grow in a dense green color.

Propagation

While seeding is the most common way for propagation, seeds take way too much time to germinate. Use offshoots that fall from the succulent and grow them right beneath it.

You will be happy to know that this succulent lives up to its genus name which is borrowed from a Greek phrase that means both admirable and noble!

Challenging for my experienced puzzle players, sturdy all in one.
Color: Navy Blue
My girls love this treat puzzle; it is not for a first timer. My dogs have several of these and they cannot get the hand of spinning the light blue circle to move the small red covers. It is a challenge and that is what they need to give me some me time.

Keeps my dog busy for a bit
Color: Navy Blue
I don't fill the hard to open spots yet, he's just figuring it out. It does keep his attention. It's a little small for a big dog (100lb Lab), prob better for a small dog. He has a hard time with the little trays. Definitely worth trying out. I wanted an inexpensive puzzle toy to try first, in case he didn't like it or couldn't figure it out.

It’s perfect! My dog loves it and i’m very satisfied with this purchase. The outside of the box did come sticky, which was kind of weird. Overall it’s great!

The outer part of puzzle is awesome! The inner...not so much.
Color: Navy Blue, Color: Navy Blue
My doggo Josie is a pretty smart dog. She can give you the most pitiful look (like in the pic) where you're giving her most of your lunch. She can hide your socks in another dimension! She can sit, shake and yes when Alexa plays "Turn around" by Bonnie Tyler...she will do it. I like to challenge her with a puzzle. She figured out the outter part of the puzzle within minutes but I was disappointed she couldn't figure out the inner part of the puzzle. Then I figured out why. The inside puzzle is very hard to push around. She gets frustrated that it won't open or move around very well. I let her do the outer puzzle for treats but I no longer put treats in the inner part. I want her to be entertained...not frustrated. I'll keep it for a bit and then pass it on to a dog shelter.
