The book contains 24 origami designs including Maiko-san (apprentice geisha), Daimonji (mountain bonfire), Kyoto vegetables, green-tea flavor soft-serve ice cream, goblins, temples, and Japanese confections.

The Origami series is created by Cochae, a design unit by Yosuke Jikuhara and Miki Takeda, who work under the theme of "designing play." In 2003, they began creating graphic origami with the concept "Make origami more pop!" within the classical world of origami.
