Samyang AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE este rezultatul unei dezvoltări comune între specialistul german în optică Schneider-Kreuznach și Samyang. În ciuda dimensiunii sale compacte, măsurând doar 88,8 mm în lungime, acesta găzduiește un design optic sofisticat cu 15 elemente în 11 grupuri. Acestea includ 3 elemente asferice, 5 elemente cu refracție ridicată și 3 elemente cu dispersie foarte scăzută dispersie, toate lucrând împreună pentru a oferi o acuitate de la margine la margine cu aberații cromatice și distorsiuni minime.
