A complete new Aqua One 143i Impeller set for the Ocellaris 400 external filters. The impeller comes complete with ceramic shaft and takes seconds to install. Fit a new 143i impeller every year or so to ensure continuous performance.

Function
The 143i Impeller is the only moving part in an Aqua One Ocellaris 400 external canister filter. It spins at high speed drawing water through the filter and returning it to your aquarium. Impellers spin 24 hours per day, seven days per week so wear is inevitable.

Effect on Flow Rate
The Aqua One Ocellaris 400 is completely dependent on the impeller to produce water flow. If the 143i is dirty or worn flow rates can be reduced to a trickle.

Lifespan
Experience tells us that most impellers give of their best during the first year of their life. The 143i impeller will turn through billions of revolutions during that times so changing it yearly or at least having a spare is common sense and means your Ocellaris 400 need never grind to a halt.

Pack size.
One 143i impeller is included per pack. The matching ceramic shaft is also included as are the top and bottom rubber ‘grommets’ which hold the impeller in place.
