Instead of mushrooming, our hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a star pattern while the base continues through for even deeper penetration.
A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
The required twist rate for these bullets is 1:11" or faster. These bullets are not recommended for use in rifles with a twist faster than 1-6".
*These bullets come supplied with optional Raptor Tips™. Tips can be installed with a press or by using gentle force on a flat surface.
