For those unaware of Royal Blood, they are a festival sensation with music chock full of headbanging rock riffage, delivered solely with drums and bass guitar. Kerr splits his bass itself to multiple octave pedals and amplifiers to deliver the sound of double tracked guitar and bass with only one instrument. His sonic formula and style is celebrated here with a signature Fender Jaguar bass.
To begin with, the Limited Edition Mike Kerr Jaguar features tried and true Fender specs including an Alder body, C-shape Maple neck with Satin Urethane finish, slab Rosewood fingerboard and 20 Medium Jumbo frets. This signature model features gold hardware from head to toe, white pearloid block inlays, and a new signature colorway - Tiger’s Blood Orange.
Most signature to the Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass are the pickups. This model is loaded with two custom designed Fender high output pickups tailored to replicate Kerr’s sound and style. At the bridge is a Fender custom mini humbucker and in the middle is a Fender Wide Range Bass humbucker.
The Mike Kerr Jaguar bass also comes in a dashing Fender deluxe gig bag with leopard print interior. With a comfortable and easily accessible 30” scale length, the Limited Edition Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass is more than ideal for aggressive styles of playing, but can sit into any scenario with a signature flare. This little monster is ready to rock and deliver the goods.
