Kingston offers several special finishes that fall into two main groups: antiqued/distressed and living. Our antiqued/intentionally distressed finishes include Antique Brass, Antique Copper, Naples Bronze, and Black Stainless. Our living finish is Oil Rubbed Bronze. Antiqued/distressed finishes have had a darkener applied to create the appearance of patina and age. Due to the nature of plating and distressing processes, each production lot of these finishes varies slightly in brightness and tone. Some degree of inconsistency between items in antiqued or distressed finishes should be expected. We cannot guarantee an exact match between items in these finishes. The differences in tone and brightness are a variation rather than a flaw or defect. Living Finishes change over time. Our Oil Rubbed Bronze will patina over time such as taking on highlights in high-touch areas. We consider this dynamic nature a feature that gives each faucet a unique character over its lifetime of use and does not constitute a defect or flaw. The icy part doesn’t stay frozen for long, but it works so well that I bought a second one to keep ready in the freezer while he’s working on the first. Even after it warmed up, he still enjoyed chewing on the soft stuffed part and the tentacles. The product card says not to use it as a chew toy, so supervision is a must, but it held up just fine so far. Overall, this has been a big help during the teething phase — short-lived when frozen, but very effective while it lasts! And worth every penny to save my fingers from being a chew toy.

I picked up the Frienhund Tough Dog Toys 3-pack for my large, heavy chewer, and overall I’m pretty impressed. Right out of the box, the toys feel solid and well-made—definitely more durable than your average chew toy. My dog usually destroys new toys within a day or two, but these have held up significantly longer, which is a big win. They also do a great job of keeping him occupied. The shapes and textures seem to keep his interest, and I’ve noticed less destructive chewing on furniture since introducing these. That alone makes them worth it. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that while they’re very tough, they’re not completely “indestructible” (despite the claim). After a couple of weeks of heavy use, there are some visible wear marks. Still, compared to most other toys we’ve tried, these last much longer. Overall, a great option for medium to large dogs that are aggressive chewers—durable, engaging, and a solid value for a 3-pack.
