One-of-a-kind ornament for that bird enthusiast in your life! This birds is my own design and hand-knit and embellished by me.

This quaint little ornament measures about 1.5 to 2-inches high by wide (size may vary slightly due to the felting process). They are perfect hanging on your holiday tree or atop a gift tucked in amongst the bow.

Each bird is first knit using wool yarns. Then it is shrunk in my washing machine down to this perfect ornament size and a dense, nubby-like texture. It is stuffed with 100% wool stuffing so the bird will hold its shape year-to-year. The detailing is then added using needle felting, embroidery and wool applique. Each bird represents a Goldfinch, not a complete duplicate to nature's creation, just enough to give the impression of a sweet Goldfinch. A transparent cord for hanging is attached.

Each bird ornament rests inside a little make-shift nest of raffia. A cello bag seals the deal, then tied with black silk ribbon, ready for easy gift giving!
