On July 31, 1992, more than 50 years after he conceived and produced the world’s first jazz album, legendary producer George Avakian brought three generations of jazz giants together in RCA’s New York studio to record the exciting music of Frank Teschemacher and the Austin High Gang. The morning session under the direction of Dick Hyman captured spirited note-for-note re-creations of famous Teschemacher records while the afternoon session directed by Kenny Davern focused on fresh, original interpretations of tunes associated with Tesch. When the expense of releasing the lavish production outpaced the available budget, the project was shelved, and the recordings went unheard. In time, they became the stuff of jazz legend. Now, 30 years later, Rivermont is pleased to present their premiere release, mastered from the original analog session tapes and supplemented by a deluxe 80-page hardback book with dozens of previously unpublished session photos and extensive commentary by Dan Levinson, Hank O’Neal, Hal Smith, and Marty Grosz. 14 tracks, 72 minutes.

The performers on this recording include:

Peter Ecklund (cornet)
Dick Sudhalter (cornet)
Jon-Erik Kellso (trumpet, mellophone)
Dan Barrett (trombone)
Kenny Davern (clarinet)
Dan Levinson (clarinet)
Ken Peplowski (tenor saxophone)
Dick Hyman (piano and director)
Marty Grosz (banjo and guitar)
Howard Alden (banjo and guitar)
Vince Giordano (tuba and bass saxophone)
Bob Haggart (bass)
Milt Hinton (bass)
Tony DeNicola (drums)
Arnie Kinsella (drums)

Good fit
Color: Black and Gray Argyle
I wear a size 9 shoe and these fit well. They are a little snug, but not too tight.

A little expensive but really come in handy!
Color: Black, Grey
So far I am really happy with these socks. I broke my big toe and had to have my toenail removed and am wearing a post-op shoe/boot. I wanted to wear a sock underneath so that my foot wouldn't get too sweaty but my toe is still too tender for regular socks and cutting the toes off of regular socks doesn't work because they won't stay put. These work great- I actually pull them up over my little toes and just leave my first couple of toes exposed. I really like that you can wear these on either foot (unlike some open toed socks that have openings for the big toe and the rest of your toes so they are designated for left and right foot) since I'm only using them on my right foot.

Excellent idea, could be better executed
I love the idea, but my problem with this product is that the bottom of the socks are made too short. The socks tend to slouch up when you wear them for awhile, so the entire ball of your foot will be exposed at some point. I would like to find a pair that cover the ball of the foot as well. But the socks are well made and attractive.

Perfect Solution for Moisturizing Heels Without Full Socks
Color: Black, Grey
Excellent quality and incredibly soft! These toeless socks are perfect if you like to moisturize your heels but don’t want to wear full socks. They stay in place and keep the lotion where it needs to be—highly recommend

These are quality materials!
The design and materials are above average. They fit great and are so comfortable. I have nerve damage and need open toes. These work perfectly. The colors are cute and did not fade upon washing. I will definitely order more, now that I’ve received my “trial” set. lol
