We're proud to present the next generation in De Niro dressage riding boots - the Volta style in beautiful brushed black leather.
The De Niro Volta boots are named after the Italian founder of the battery; Alessandro Volta. The word Volta also means rewrite the page. This new model rewrites dressage!
Handmade in Italy by specialised craftsmen with years of experience, these boots feature a back zip, unlike many other dressage boots which have a diagonal front zip.
The result is that the boots are easier to put on and take off, and it gives the additional benefit of increased durability, since the leather around the ankle will not fold, stretch or damage like it can with a front zip model.
Additional, the zip cages are less prone to damage as they are in a less vulnerable spot.
The De Niro Volta boots have a beautiful high dressage arch of 10cm for calf sizes S and smaller, while for calf sizes M and up it is 8cm tall, which is the standard high bow for other De Niro dressage models.
These boots have a similar slimline fit to the famous Bellini model.
Further details include hardened shafts, calfskin leather patches on the inner calves and a brushed leather leg and foot for an elegant shiny finish that is more subtle than patent.
These boots feature De Niro's WRAT technology using hydrophobic materials that are bonded to the leather structure during tannage to form a protective water, wind and crack-resistant barrier.
They are finished with a silver De Niro galloping horse badge at the top of the boots.
