The two-way Merlin S6plus use our new Premium soft dome tweeter partnered with our new improved 6 1/2 inch mid/bass driver. Continuing on from our Award-winning Merlin Series 6, (2020 Loudspeaker of the year Award $500 – $1000) the Merlin S6Plus speakers have borrowed tech from our Premium Special Edition Range and uses the same New Premium soft dome tweeter partnered with our new improved 6 1/2 inch mid/bass driver. The improvement these new drivers brings allows us to retain the same crossover design using high quality acoustic polypropylene caps, air cored and ferrite core inductors. This results in the Merlin Series 6Plus being an even better Exciting Engaging Entertainment Experience to keep you digging through that record and CD collection or start swiping for your favourites from a streaming service.

The new tweeter borrowed from the Premium Special Edition range deliveries considerably better sensitivity with a lower resonance frequency and double the power handling resulting in a new level of clarity and engagement like lifting a veil.
Improved Drivers
Our new 6 1/2” lightweight Midrange – Bass drivers have been improved for the Series 6plus Range, they exhibit notable advancements, particularly around the 1KHz range, surpassing its predecessor there’s also a commendable reduction of approximately 10% in nonlinear distortion compared to its predecessor. This all goes to providing a smoother cleaner audible improvement.
