This is a set of two Natural Edge blanks of Black Walnut.  One has bark on, firm and tight.  The other is barkless.  They're wedged chunks of walnut, with a bases about 3" x 5" and tops about 5" x 5.5".  Heights of the blocks are about 5.5"  

They've been air-dried for years to a moisture content of 10-12%. 

There are lots of photos -- be sure to scroll down below the first 3.   I've carefully rotated each block, so that you can see all sides and ends.    There is one small crack that you can see in the very last photo -- it's minor and will probably turn off, otherwise you can stabilize with CA glue. 

These walnut blocks will be beautiful to turn!
