The AC-22LX is set up with two custom-designed, five-inch, twin-cone speakers that punch well above their weight to impress with exceptional projection. Onboard, a guitar/instrument channel features a three-band EQ and dedicated reverb and reverb/chorus effects. This channel sits alongside a dedicated mic channel with XLR input, phantom power, a two-band EQ and a reverb effect for adding a certain flourish to any performance. These inputs get some lively color with Five Air Feel settings to introduce variation and depth. For performance or practice, the Boss AC-22LX features an onboard Rhythm Box with fifteen customizable patterns to compound on acoustic compositions.

Further features on the AC-22LX include a USB audio interface with Loopback for recording and livestreaming, a stereo auxiliary input for music playback, and a stereo line output. These features enhance the overall function of the amp, in addition to a compatibility with an AC-22LX Editor app for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android operating systems for deep sound editing options. Connectivity expands even wider with an optional Bluetooth audio MIDI dual adaptor for wireless audio playback from a mobile device. Powered by an included AC adaptor or eight AA batteries, this Boss amp is easily hooked up and played.
