This kit comes with an OBD splitter so you can also still ave your DS1 plugged in at the same time and it will not interfere with it at all. This power adapter is smart and in ACC mode will automatically power down the bTres approximately 5-10 min after the engine has been stopped.
The USB C cord on this is 1.5 meters long and will reach anywhere in your cabin you have mounted/stored your bTres
