Las Flores Farm was founded in 1990 by Edilberto Vergara and Nubia Ayure, beginning with just two hectares in Huila. Over time, their dedication expanded the farm to 16 hectares and established it as a benchmark for quality. After their mother’s passing, the five Vergara brothers carried the legacy forward, transforming the farm by introducing rare varieties like Ombligon and refining fermentation techniques to unlock each cultivar’s full potential.
Today, Las Flores stands among Huila’s most progressive producers. Carlos and Diego oversee fermentation and drying with technical precision, while Jhoan leads variety selection, experimental processing, and international representation.
