The Bombers Ported Pivot Eggbutt Snaffle features a ported, jointed mouthpiece to take pressure off the horse's tongue while maintaining independent side movement.

The Ported Pivot mouthpiece is shaped to avoid putting pressure on the horse's tongue, yet has limited movement in the mouthpiece to keep the contact stable.

It allows for independent lateral aids from each hand while maintaining the profile of the bit in the horse's mouth.

It is well suited to tongue sensitive horses that have difficulty flexing and do not put enough weight in the reins.

The Eggbutt sides prevent pinching of the lips and gives a slightly more solid feel against the side of the face to assist with turning aids. The eggbutt 'cheeks' also prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than that of a loose ring.

The blue sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation and acceptance of the bit. The material oxidises easily, warming up quickly in the horse's mouth and producing a sweet taste.
