Setting the pace with a new standard, the Taylor Guitars Next Generation 414ce Grand Auditorium is classic Taylor magic in motion. This "next gen" take on the classic Taylor 400 Series Grand Auditorium punches in with iconic specifications and fresh spins on established designs for an overall exciting and revitalized interpretation of a Taylor acoustic guitar for the future.

The Taylor Next Generation series of acoustics sets out to set the stage for a new Taylor standard to make their musical experiences even better. Everything here kicks off – in a classic Taylor fashion – with a Grand Auditorium body brought together by Sitka spruce and two-piece Indian rosewood. Sitka and rosewood, a timeless combo if you ask us, plays with generations of Taylor tone with top-end chirp and rich, resonant bass response as prominent characteristics. A Venetian cutaway opens up the higher ends of this Auditorium's registers for smooth access to upper frets. What's more, scalloped V-Class braces land with this Sitka top with a Relief Rout to deliver a response that balances the traditional tones of usual flat-top bracing and the high-end clarity of Taylor's other V-Class bracing patterns.

Taylor's iconic Grand Auditorium body is built out with this Next Generation series entry. A satin-finished neo-tropical mahogany neck reaches out from this body with a Taylor Standard Carve profile. This neck is affixed to the body through Taylor's next Action Control Neck assembly that makes upkeep and adjustments easier while enhancing the model's total warmth and sustain. West African Crelicam ebony makes up this model's fingerboard with faux pearl Weathervane inlays for an effortless feel on the fingers and a unique visual element.

Tying this Next Generation Taylor together is a series of reliable hardware specs. Moving toward the headstock, this 414ce features a black TUSQ nut and Taylor Nickel tuning machines for smooth stringing and steady intonation. These parts are matched at the scale's opposite end with a West African Crelicam ebony bridge and white micarta saddle. Onboard, new Claira electronics seamlessly translate the tones of this Next Generation series to the stage with a new, impactful mid frequency contour knob mounted to the soundhole. This Taylor Next Generation 414ce travels with an included Deluxe Brown hardshell case.

Like every good story, there's always another corner to turn – ready to make that move?

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.
