Adorable looks and an extremely nimble drive are just two of the reasons behind the massive popularity enjoyed by the Fiat 500, which was adopted by many residents of Italy as their daily run-around. The second generation of the car was manufactured between 1957 and 1975. Measuring in at less than three meters, this rear-wheel drive car's 500cc 2-cylinder engine was housed in the back; it could just about hold four people in its rather spartan interior. The 500F was first sold in 1965 and was updated with front-hinged doors and larger tail lamps. The Fiat 500 would of course become a worldwide hit, and even evolved into a third generation model in 2007.

Length: 124mm, width: 56mm, height: 57mm. ♦The adorable form of this classic car is accurately recreated, with a choice of open and closed top parts. ♦Engine and transmission are shown in detail, and the former is visible under the opening rear hood. ♦Suspension is depicted with accuracy. ♦The model comes with solid synthetic rubber tires. ♦Optional decals are included to add racing stripes to the car. ♦Special box art features an urban setting, where the 500F is right at home.

  • Choose whether to have the canvas sun roof up or down.
  • As evidenced by this picture, leaving the top open gives a great look at the interior.
  • The opening engine hood lets you admire the engine.
  • This is the 500cc engine in 1/24 scale.
  • The rather simple dashboard features a solitary speedometer, while most of the interior is taken up by the seats.
