The Scarlet Goodbye (labelled "the most unlikely mash up in Minnesota music history") is the creative combination of Daniel Murphy (Soul Asylum, Golden Smog) and Jeff Arundel. Murphy had stepped away in 2012 after 30 years of recording and touring. A chance meeting with the mellow singer songwriter Arundel led the duo to start writing and recording together. The result is their full length album, Hope's Eternal, produced by John
