PRODUCT DETAILS

Who should purchase the Universal Harness?

The Hybrid Racing Universal K-Series Swap Conversion Wiring Harness is designed for those people who have decided to install a K-Series engine into a non-honda chassis or a chassis where a standard plug and play conversion harness is not available. (such as Preludes, DA Integras, Accords, and older Honda chassis)

This harness has also been used in custom open wheel cars such as the Ariel Atom, RCR Superlite Roadster, Sandrails, and 3 wheeled Trikes. It has also been used on Mini Coopers, Toyota MR-2s, Lotus Elises as well as full blown tubed frame race cars.

If your engine of choice is the K-Series motor and plan to use the OEM K-Series ECU than we can help you get it started.

What is included with the race harness?

The race harness includes a fuel pump relay, a main relay and a primary oxygen sensor relay. The harness comes wired with the provisions for the OEM K-Series 02-04 Wideband o2 sensor and an OBD2 port. This harness has outputs including, tachometer, speedometer, low oil pressure warning, malfunction indicator, fan control, fuel pump control and for the starter relay. You will need to supply the harness with a constant 12v and switch 12v source.

With over ten years of K-Series swap wiring experience, the Hybrid Racing Conversion Harness is the most widely used and reliable K-Swap conversion harness on the market. This conversion harnesses powers thousands of K-Swaps all over the world!

The K-Swap harness interfaces with your factory dash harness, your OEM K-Series engine harness and your K-Series ECU allowing for a simple plug and play K-Swap.

What engine harness does the Hybrid Racing conversion harness work with?

  • This harness works with all USDM / JDM 02-04 wiring harnesses including, K20A, K20A2, K20A3.
  • This harness is wired to use the factory wideband O2 sensor so European customers using the UKDM K20A/K20A2 wiring harness will need to convert the harness to use the narrowband type sensor.
  • This harness does NOT work with any 05-06 OR K24 engine wiring harnesses and ECU.
What type of connectors and pins do you use?

When we construct a Hybrid Racing harness we utilize brand new connectors, terminals and wire sourced from the same company that Honda utilizes for their connectors. These connectors are ordered in bulk from Japan and ensure that you get all new parts. In addition, all new connectors decrease the chance for errors in the harness as we do not solder any of the joints. Every harness is machine made and human checked so they are issue free.

What if I have questions or problems?

To ensure a trouble-free install all of the wires are labeled and neatly packaged. The most valuable thing you get when you purchase a Hybrid Racing harness is full tech support. This tech support extends beyond your harness and includes help with anything associate with your swap. If you have any problems at all with the swap just give us a call and a tech will get you the information you need. It’s like having a buddy down the street who has already done hundreds of K swaps!

Might be the best watch… ever.
Possibly the perfect watch. Easy to read display and light. Great functions. Lightweight and comfortable to wear. Tough solar to keep charged and multiband 6 for accurate timekeeping. Love it. Excellent value too!

Set it and forget it — solar & atomic is worth it
This is easily one of the most practical watches I’ve owned. The solar charging is a game changer — no worrying about battery changes. As long as it gets some light, it just keeps going. The atomic timekeeping is another big plus. It updates itself, so it’s always accurate without you having to mess with it. It still has that classic G-Shock toughness, so I don’t think twice about wearing it to work, the gym, or outside. It’s durable, lightweight, and more low-profile than some of the bigger G-Shocks, which I actually prefer. The display is clean and easy to read, and once you learn the buttons, everything is straightforward. If you want a tough everyday watch that basically runs itself, this is a solid upgrade over the standard models.

Best Watch Ever Made
I am a watch collector. I have about 50 watches - of all different sorts: automatic, quartz, analog, digital, high-end (luxury - like omega) and low-end (timex). This watch is hands-down the best watch in my collection. Sure I wouldn’t wear it with a suit. But in literally every other occasion this watch is perfect. It’s always accurate to the second - you never have to set it. And it syncs really well with atomic time (here in the US and in the UK from my experience). Also the world time feature is perfect when traveling - simply push the top two buttons in world time mode to switch the new time zone to your current time zone. Its button configuration is perfect compared to other digital watches. And the battery will last basically indefinitely. Perhaps you might need to add a new solar powered watch battery replacement once in your lifetime if the battery stops taking any charge. The stopwatch and timer are useful for me daily. And the hourly signal on the alarm mode is great when you want to be more mindful of the time. Sure Casio makes other similarly functioned watches that are just as fun. But I think where this reigns supreme over those is its classic design, perfect functionality and button layout, and its size. And it beats a smart watch in terms of battery life, durability, and reliability. I promise you won’t dislike this watch - unless you think the design is ugly… which I understand if you do. But give it a chance and you might discover the joy and security this watch gives me.

Perhaps the Perfect Digital Watch
This is perhaps as close to a perfect digital watch as you can get. Besides the toughness of a G=Shock, it's got all the daily features one may need (alarm - which you can set up to 5, stopwatch and countdown timer). It also has world time, which is a nice feature to have when travelling. When in stop watch and time modes, the current time is displayed in the upper right corner of the display where the date normally is. It's solar powered, and the display shows how much power the watch has. Multi-band 6 is another feature, so it automatically sets the time once it receives a signal from an atomic clock transmitter. YMMV with this feature though. I have difficulty receiving the signal being on the U.S. east coast (the transmitter is in Colorado). There are phone apps you can use to strengthen the signal if normal reception fails. Despite this, it can be manually set if needed. Visibility of the display is an upgrade over the DW-5600. It's more clear, and more visible at different viewing angles. The standard backlight is now LED instead of the classic electroluminescence. Some prefer the latter. This may or may not be a deal breaker based on personal preference, but considering what this watch has to offer, it should only be a consideration in the bigger picture. The watch offers a great fit for G-Shock. With its slim profile, it lacks the bulk of many of the other G-Shock models out there. It's very comfortable to wear on different size wrists, though the strap may not be everyone's cup of tea. The design is very much retro, harkening back to the 1983 original square with the red border. For the price of this watch, it really is a great value. It's also possibly the only digital watch you'll ever need unless you want other functions like tides, barometers, etc. In my collection, this watch is one of my favorites. There's a good chance it will become one of yours too.

Most practical watch
I'm a watch collector and I enjoy classic men's watches. One thing that I can't stand is that no matter where you turn around you always see bunch of people with the same exact smart watch of a certain brand on their wrists. So boring. So cliche. So annoying. As the phones aren't enough. Anyway, excluding this Casio that I bought last year out of nostalgia, I have 6 other watches with combined value of $30K: a Sea Dweller, a Seamaster, an Aquaracer, a Seiko Cpt Willard, a Seiko Arnie and a Citizen Nighthawk. Yet I wear this cheap $100 Casio most of the time - when I'm outdoors, when I'm at home, in a pool ..... - Virtually 90% of the the time and situations that don't warrant wearing a luxury/dressy watch. That says enough how much I like this retro looking G-Shock! It's by far the most practical watch I have and it has all the features you would want in an EDC watch: toughness, solar power, waterproof, alarm, timer, date, light, multiple times zones... I highly recommend it for men of all ages, backgrounds and lines of work.
