It is entirely a light pinkish brown heartwood with a very pleasing grain pattern. There is a single prominent, imbedded small limb on one edge, within an area of a complex, somewhat swirlng grain. It looks as if that imbedded limb will turn off as the block is roughed to round, likely leaving that complex grain as an nice, eye catching feature. I see

This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).
