Jeep Grand Cherokee Front 3 Piece Cross Member 1993-1998 ZJ Clayton Off RoadClayton Off Road Inc. cross members are a 3 piece design. This 3 piece design allows us to bolt the cross member into the oem location for alignment, and then welds in for proper strength. The cross member incorporates the mounting locations for our long arms. Once the suspension is installed, the center section can still be removed in order to service the drivetrain. Our new pocket design allows greater strength and protection for the recommended 2.

Our new pocket design allows greater strength and protection for the recommended 2.5 Inch forged Johnny joint.
Cross member is designed to use a 2.5 inch Johnny Joint with a 4 inch 9/16s grade 8 bolt.
Note: Cross member may be bolted in while it supports the transmission like factory. You Must weld it in before control arms are attached to it!
