Holy NightThis piece was inspired by the three Christmas trees planted in my grandparent's front yard. From seedlings, the trees grew each year until they were towering above us. I have such fond memories of my grandad climbing a ladder (well into his 80s when my uncles insisted on taking over the job!) and stringing them with old fashioned lights. Holy Night plants this nostalgia on the outskirts of Bethlehem where Jesus was born. Frame is for display only.

What makes this special?

All photos capture the color and detail as accurately as possible, but note that there may be some slight color shifts between photo and actual painting. Painting is signed on the surface and on the back in graphite and varnished.
