First introduced in 1942, the history of the Gibson LG-2 acoustic guitar is woven into the fabric of the Second World War's timeline. The new '50s LG-2 pays homage to its past with features like a carefully selected Sitka spruce top, complemented by a solid mahogany back and sides, while also modifying the original design with features like an LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup system that works to amplify the '50s LG-2 sound that many have come to love.

With traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing, this Gibson '50s LG-2 offers the timeless warmth and richness generally associated with acoustic flat-top guitars. With body measurements of just under 14-1/2 inches across the lower bout, 19 inches in length, and approximately 4-1/2 inches deep at the tailblock, its form is subtly more compact than that of some of its flat-top counterparts, allowing for a more comfortable playing experience in positions where a bigger guitar may strain the strumming arm.

The iconic '50s LG-2-shaped body comes with a Vintage Sunburst finish under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, contributing to both its visual and resonant qualities. The 12” radius Rosewood fingerboard, featuring Mother-of-pearl dot inlays, complements the LG-2’s neck, which boasts an era-specific 50s-style V-profile, with a vintage-inspired feel. The inclusion of Grover Strap Cream Button tuning machines, a teardrop-style pickguard, and a black truss rod cover further contribute to its iconic and authentic vintage aesthetic.

Gibson's '50s LG-2 comes in a sunburst finish under hand sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer, and with antiqued binding, adding an elegant touch. It also comes with a Gibson hardshell case included.

  • Sitka spruce top
  • Solid mahogany back and sides
  • LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup system
  • Compact, comfortable body size
  • Vintage Sunburst finish
  • Comes with hardshell case

Labs love this!!!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

Must-Have for Active Dogs!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
The Chuckit Sport 26L Dog Ball Launcher has been a game-changer for my large dog! My 80-pound Labrador loves to play fetch, and this launcher makes it so much easier and more enjoyable for both of us. The 26” length gives me the leverage to throw the ball much farther than I could by hand, which really helps burn off my dog’s energy. The included large ball (3”) is the perfect size for big dogs, and I appreciate that it’s made from durable rubber, so it withstands a lot of chewing and rough play. What I really love is that the launcher is so lightweight and easy to use. I can play fetch with my dog for extended periods without my arm getting tired. The ergonomic handle also provides a comfortable grip, which is a nice touch. If you have a large, active dog, the Chuckit Sport 26L is a must-have. It’s well-made, durable, and makes fetch more fun for both you and your dog. Highly recommend!

ChuckIt is AMAZING!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
I can't throw a ball to save my soul. Just got this today and lobbed a ball to the far end of my 1- acre yard. The dog loves it, and I love it!

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.

Great Ball Launcher!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Our dogs love this ball launcher! I can throw the ball long distances without any arm strain. The balls wear out, and as described by others, tennis balls don’t fit. Buy extra balls if this is of concern. We bought a few of the “Chuck It” rubber 3” balls and they have worked well for our dogs. It’s a great value and fun for the dogs.
