Orbit pumps generate a distinctive flow pattern, creating a dynamic water movement that emulates the ocean's currents. This system circulates water around the aquarium, mirroring the natural tidal movements found in ocean reefs. The key advantage of Orbit's flow is its ability to effectively stir up and lift excess nutrients from the aquarium's bottom, facilitating their removal through filtration.

In a natural ocean environment, reefs flourish due to the diversity of flow patterns. Similarly, achieving a thriving aquarium ecosystem requires a variety of flow types. Integrating Orbit pumps with our Nero pump line, which offers directional and random flow patterns, can replicate the ocean's powerful, directed, systematic, and at times, chaotic currents. This combination ensures a more authentic and efficient recreation of the oceanic environment in your aquarium.

Simple Built-In Control

All AI devices include smart control standard. Choose from the myAI or Mobius app on any iOS or Android device to easily set up or program your AI equipment. The Orbit pumps can also be controlled via Apex Fusion by utilizing the MXM module.

Reversible Flow

An interesting feature of the Orbit pump is its ability to not just spin forward but also spin backward.  It provides unique opportunities for different flow patterns.

The true power of reverse mode is unlocked when combined with a second orbit pump.  While one pump is pushing the flow in a singular cross-flow direction, a second pump can run in reverse mode to help keep the flow moving across the length of the aquarium.
