Embarking on a homage to the golden era of guitar-making, the Heritage Custom Shop Core Collection H-150 Plain Top is a superbly crafted instrument that fully represents the elegance, rich tone, and dynamic versatility of its historical predecessors. Crafted in the storied Parsons Street shop in Kalamazoo, this instrument embodies the legacy of the iconic single cutaway design.
Beginning with a classic solid body construction, this H-150 is graced with a plain maple top resting upon an ultra lightweight mahogany body. This combination contributes to a warm, resonant tone that's perfect for a broad array of musical styles. The single-cutaway shape not only oozes classic rock aesthetics but enhances upper fret access as well.
A mahogany neck, fashioned in a 50's style 'C' profile, is designed to provide that timeless hand-feel while the rosewood fingerboard, featuring classic acrylic trapezoid inlays, ensures a smooth and swift playing experience that looks as good as it performs. The 24.75" scale length offers that familiar stretch, with a set of Jescar Medium Jumbo frets rounding off the neck specs.
The Heritage H-150 comes equipped with two Custom Shop 225 Classic Humbuckers - designed in-house at the Heritage Custom Shop. This pair of powerhouses delivers a full tonal spectrum, producing everything from silky smooth leads to crunchy rhythm tones. With a traditional two volume, two-tone control setup, and a 3-way selector, it's simple to dial in your desired sounds.
Appreciate the Artisan Aged Antique Pelham Blue finish, a stunning color choice that pays tribute to the time-worn beauty of the great guitars of the past. The nitrocellulose lacquer not only contributes to the visual appeal of the guitar but also enhances the natural resonance of the wood.
