The Norma Professional range of fine, pure oil colours for artists consists of 84 brilliant modern and traditional colours, including 27 high quality transparent and unique special colours with the highest possible concentration of pigment. All 84 shades display the maximum degree of light fastness (4-5 stars) and exhibit a creamy buttery consistency that mixes well and produces responsive brush marks with great texture. The best classical and latest technical pigments used in the highest concentration guarantee a maximum spreading rate and an exceptional luminosity and brilliance of all colours.
Norma Professional can be combined with MUSSINI finest artists' resin-oil colours and other oil colours.

Entertaining, informative, without being overwhelming.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".

For the history buff or student - this is worth the purchase
Format: Hardcover
Detailed, individual maps and history on the battles of World War II. It isn’t too overwhelming for the student and is an enjoyable read for the history buff. Hardback so it will ensure lots of reading and reviews, durable pages too (not those thin, flimsy, easily tearable pages!) - this book will likely stand the test of our schooling years and beyond.
