First edition, with number string 1-10. One of a limited edition of only 1500 numbered copies signed by the author. This is the official sequel to Peter Pan, which was commissioned to appear in 2006, the centenary of the first appearance of Peter Pan In Kensington Gardens (1906). Reportedly over 100 authors applied to write this sequel, the commission for which was awarded to Geraldine McCaughrean, previous winner of the Carnegie Medal, the Whitbread Children's Book Award (three times), the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, and the Blue Peter Book of the Year.
